Foann Posted March 27, 2007 Report Posted March 27, 2007 Ok, first, im not a expert at computers, but ive read alot on utorrent faq/guides, forums, etc and ive dabbled plenty with it. Im at college, my utorrent can download at high speeds if it is a torrent with alot of seeds. However, no matter how many seeds there are or what port it is set on, my DHT never seems to work here. It will give me very few nodes or just say "waiting for login." I have good ol' Zone Alarm, but i know it isnt the problem because when im at my home, i can get 200 nodes easy. Is there anything i can do about it to fix DHT here at college?2. If i have no problem connecting to torrents (if theres enough seeds), does DHT actually much of anything?3. Just recently, when i try to search for something using the magnifying glass in top right, utorrent will freeze when i hit enter to search.

There may be incoming connections being blocked (which is different from incoming data).3> Could be browser default setting issues.
