Where have I gone wrong with sharing /seeding ?

OK ! Let me see if I can ask this question properly.

I have only been using Utorrent for about a week.

When I started out I put the torrents I downloaded to a directory (torrents).

After I d/l the movie/audio (or whatever) I put them in their own individual directory.

Now I can't seem to figure out how to get them to start seeding/sharing again.

I've tried to move the torrent to the directory where the d/l file is ,but it still doesn't seed.

I go file – torrent (no default save) and selected the torrent that I use to d/l the movie/audio in the first place.

It still doesn't want to start seeding.

I have torrents and there associated file all over the place and can't figure out how to move them without messing up the uploads.

Being new at this I'm not sure if I am clear on this question.

I don't want to goof them up because I want to continue sharing them.

What should I have done?

What should I do now with all this mess?

Thanks

PS: When I try this .....................

Loading torrents in µTorrent

In µTorrent, click File > Add Torrent (no default save)

Browse your way to the .torrent file you wish to seed and select.

(The next step is where I'm having a problem with)

Browse your way to the folder where the files are located and select the folder.

It doesn't show an option to

"Browse your way to the folder where the files are located and select the folder"

If it makes any differance I'm using 1.6.1

If you have the torrents in the list and moved the files, you can make it in this way:

stop the torrent (not pause)

rightclick on it

Advanced > Set Download Location (show utorrent where the file is, where you have moved it)

start the torrent over

make this with all your moved files

"Browse your way to the folder where the files are located and select the folder" means, you should show utorrent where the file is
