Mischa
Hello there...I'm just new with uTorrent since a tracker revused my Azureus and I must say I like uTorrent too...I now use v.1.6.1 and think I've found a little "bug". In the SpeedHelp-dialogue there's a button which leads to the online µTorrent Port Checker. The URL used in the dialogue is: http://www.utorrent.com:16000/testport2.php?port=xxx where xxx is the chosen port. This URL isn't working. I guess it should be: https://www.utorrent.com/testport2.php?port=xxxHope this "report" isn't completely useless.... :-)Greetings from a new and happy user,Mischa. DreadWingKnight
It is actually, because the intended use of the port 16000 is to bypass transparent http proxies.
Mischa
It is actually, because the intended use of the port 16000 is to bypass transparent http proxiesI understand that. But what I should have mentioned more precisely in my initial post is that the first mentioned URL (like: http://www.utorrent.com:16000/testport2.php?port=xxx) isn't working. I can't get connected to the desired (Nat Check) page.I get a "The page cannot be displayed" error in IE and FF.When I use the other URL it does workHTH,Mischa.
