µTorrent 1.7 beta 2951

Recommended Posts

I've not had any RSS re-downloading probs anywhere (notably, not in Tokyo Toshokan) :\

For clarification: [sHS] Darker than Black is in one of my filters, which was in Lucifer's downloads, too.

Shift+Home and Shift+End in the file selection of Add New Torrent seems to screw things up.

Nice one... I totally missed this :o Same goes with Shift+PgUp and Shift+PgDn.

One of the things that seems to be fixed in the 2151 build seems to be the number conenction to seeds. Before if you had 20 connections, it would only connect to leeches once no more seeds were found so you got all seeds and hardly any leeches at all to send data to. Now it seems more balanced, Like a ratio was used to set the number of seeds to peers...

I found little "bug"

so, I`ll try to tell how to see it:

1. look at the selected torrent (DJ_Romeo...)

95476045vs2.th.jpg

2. Then we move the cursor over the name of the torrent, and see the full name like tooltip.

3. Well, go to another category and look at another torrent named as Memento HRT

43469191gk7.th.jpg

4. And finally, move cursor over this torrent and get same tooltip ;)

Version: build 2151

I'm not sure if this a bug, but in Peers tab of any torrent i dont receive any update of % at peers. It looks like if i start seeding and have 5 peers with 0% - after hours of seeding - i still see that they have 0% but on tracker it appears as 1-100%

Hmmm.. usually its Bitcomet, seems that with uTorrent or Azureus offenders its okay.

Availability column does not updating too

But if i restarting task - it receive % progress on first connect and then not updating again.

They may still be downloading but not sending have's to the seeds... µT has an option to do the same thing...

You have no control whatsoever what other peers do. You run your program, they run their program, and that's it.

You most likely don't get any possitive feed back ... I thought I would give one.

Beta 1.7 2151 works great on Win Server 2008 (longhorn beta 3, 6001) - it did the auto update just fine from the previous beta. etc ..etc

I am running a ton of seeds and everything is going strong with out any errors or bugs.

Here is my snap shot of my screen

Thanks for your hard work !!

I haven't been able to duplicate the issue with repeated RSS downloads, even with the provided feed. If anyone still has the issue, and is willing to send me their rss.dat file for testing, please send me a message... thanks!

SaveTheRbtz,

Have you tried µTorrent with cFosSpeed Driver disabled/removed?

Are you using encryption set to enabled, forced, or none in µTorrent?

(Your ISP may be attempting to block seeding.)

Suggestion for the "Statistics Dialog":

I think it would be quite useful to break the hours into days (probably years as well). Currently it's like 5201:19:34.. so... uh. I have no idea what this means, but dividing it by 24 reveals that it's been 216 days something (yeah, I used a calculator for that).

Thanks

SaveTheRbtz maybe deleting settings.dat might help. This will reset all your settings though, make a backup in case it doesn't help to quickly restore your current settings.

I'm having the same issue with seeding cutting out. But, I think this may be a tracker under a heavy load issue.

Demoniod is the tracker...
