MrTufty Posted November 10, 2005 Report Share Posted November 10, 2005 As far as I'm aware, scraping is asking the tracker to tell you how many seeds and how many peers are online for the torrent. Obviously it's helpful to know in advance whether you've got enough clients available to actually get the file down, and that's where scraping comes in.If I haven't explained this very well, or I'm missing something, no doubt somebody else can correct me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
