I dont get, port opens and closes randomly

Sometimes I'll start uTorrent and i'll get the green arrow and it will say the port is open. Sometimes I'll get the yellow caution sign and it says the ports closed, but I never change any settings it should remain open at all times. Whats going on?

yellow does NOT say port is definetly closed, it just indicates that you have no incomming connections at the moment.

if the torrents you run have low seeds/peers, getting no incomming cons for quite a while is normal.

and if you have a swarm with many seeds/peers and you have no incomming cons, it could be an indication that you run to high values in CTRL+G which might clog your router and therefor you don't get incomming cons.
