distortionrock Posted November 11, 2005 Report Share Posted November 11, 2005 I've recently been trying to do Port Forwarding on my router but everytime I try to access it with my IP address i'm completely blocked. It says "The connection was refused when attempting to contact...". I'm assuming this is a security/firewall problem but I'm not too sure. I'm running ZoneAlarm Firewall on my Windows XP and my router is a ZyXEL Prestige 900 series. I've tried with all my Internet Browers (Firefox, Opera, IE) but I get the same thing everytime. I set the settings for ZoneAlarm on Low and so forth but it still gives me the same message. I'm also running Norton and I disabled that too.
