Windows Server 2003 and multiple instances

Greetings,

I have uTorrent running on a windows server 2003 machine. I often have multiple rdesktop sessions on this machine which creates multiple instances of uTorrent for a single user.

How does uTorrent handle this if at all? Will both instances try to download the same torrent at the same time? Is there anyway to stop this?

I have noticed people running multiple instances under the same session using the /RECOVER option what exactly does this option do?

µTorrent doesn't do anything about multiple instances outside of preventing it if possible. If multiple instances manage to get run, and they're using the same settings directory, things can get mangled, and yes, they will attempt to download at the same time.
