Why we can't see other seeders while seeding?

I know this question may sounds weird since I had never care about other seeders too, but I'm just curious why we can't see other seeders?

While we are being peer we can see other peers but while being seeder, we can still see only peers too.

Why checking peers is necessary while downloading and while uploading it's not necessary to check seeders?

Because it's a waste of connections.

It's not like you're ever going to transfer to them ever again.

While downloading, you're transferring data to and from both seeds and other downloaders.

While seeding, you're ONLY transferring data to downloaders.

I think that's people sometime seeders don't want to show their upload speed to other seeders
