z9999
On occasion I have found ipfilter.dat useful on a temporary basis, and have a few IP's that I wish to remain permanently. I assume what I am looking for is probably available but I have not found any info as to how to do it. What I would like to know is if, and how you can apply a comment in the ipfilter.dat file describing the reason a single or group of entries exist. I've looked at the FAQ and searched the forums and have not found any info in relation to this or possible have missed it if it exists. Thanks. Switeck
I think comments can be put after the ips...µTorrent ignores any 'extra' junk on each line.
µtorrent-Guest
ja, if you have it for example in this format, it will work64.124.0.0 - 64.125.255.255 , 000 , Abovenet Communications, Inc (deals with MediaSentry (and such) assholes)
z9999
I'll give it a try, but was curious to know if there was any rules to be followed, such as comments must be on a separate line and begin with a ";" or a "#" or something of that sort. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't going to create any problems due to not following proper procedures.
