Moving files from old unseeded to new seeded torrent

Hello,

I was downloading a torrent that was about 16G in size. The torrent is now dead and a new torrent has been posted containing the same files. I thought I could just copy my partially downloaded files across into the new folder and utorrent would realise that it was partially downloaded when I did a re-check. But this does not appear to be the case.

Firstly, the re-check option is greyed out. How can I fix this?

Secondly, how can I continue downloading the same file in a new torrent? Is it possible?
