absent
Thank you.As late as 1.1.7.2 it was not fixed, now with 1.2 the program does not hog hundreds of megs of my memory.
Ultima
That's probably because you didn't turn the diskio.flush_files option on in 1.1.7.2, where it's enabled by default on 1.2.
IronBlind
To bad that I meantioned that I got this leak memory error again on the new version 1.2And yes "diskio.flush_files" is set to true Any solution or did someone get this bug aswell ? 1c3d0g
No, no memory leak here. :| In fact, memory consumption has gone down for some odd reason... :/
Ultima
It shouldn't be odd, since the devs are (most likely) always looking for ways to make µTorrent more efficient =P

1c3d0g
Indeed. In 1.2's changelog it says:- Change: Use less memory for torrents with lots of files.- Fix: Use a little bit less memory in the network code.

petriljoe
@ jroc: I would upgrade to 1.2 (b328) just for the benefits of EVEN LESS MEMORY LEAKAGE!!! lol.
jroc
yea I know. NiteShdw
Even if you upgrade, μTorrent will restart and resume seeding/downloading right where you left off. It only takes about 1 second to upgrade.
jroc
I shoulda said I also have ISP issues, too. When Im seeding real nice, and then stop, game ova. I cant even upload my own torrents anymore.... The only thing I can do is download and seed.
