TheEasterBunny
Hello all. I'm trying to download a music file and the uTorrent download stops after 30-60 seconds. If I sit there and keep manually restarting the download, I'll eventually get the file but it's really irritating. The error is:Error opening "D:\\Downloads\AlbumName\SongName.flac": System info: Windows 2000 SP 4I do NOT have the Google/MSN Desktop installedI'm logged in as AdministratorDSL Router Brand: ActionTecuTorrent 1.6.1None of the files involved are Read-Only although the FLAC file does have the archive bit set.I don't know if this is related but I had to manually create the "Downloads" and "AlbumName" directories. I don't know why uTorrent chose those directory names or why uTorrent was unable to create them automatically.Thank you all for your help!
Firon
Why are there two slashes? Seems like the reason why it'd complain.
TheEasterBunny
I've no idea why there are two slashes. That was the uTorrent's choice. I'm not sure how/where to address that issue.EDIT: OK - I addressed the issue by going into Preferences and specifying a default directory. Looks like if no default directory is specified, it chooses the install directory but for some reason adds a double-slash after the drive letter. Thanks! Ultima
No, it doesn't choose the installation directory. If a default directory isn't set, it uses your last selected directory. You probably made a mistake before by modifying the save location incorrectly.
