krisdb
Is it possible to have an auto shutdown option selected by default when utorrent starts? right now, I have to manually select "Standby When Everything Completes" every time I start utorrent, but I'd like for that to be selected automatically. Thanks.
Ultima
No, it's not possible. IMHO, such behavior would lead to much confusion -- people might wonder why their computer turned off while they were away from the computer, for example. krisdb
I can understand that, but it would be nice if it was an advanced feature or something.
Falcon4
It's just a silly idea. You shouldn't even be doing such a thing. If you really want to intently keep putting your computer in standby when you're done with your torrents, you should be intently pushing the option to do so. It's totally not normal behavior. Personally, I thought the whole "standby/shutdown/restart when this/that is completed" thing was ridiculous...
krisdb
well, I have a scheduled task in XP setup which takes my computer out of standby mode and starts utorrent at 2 in the morning, so I'm not using up the bandwidth during the day and I can reach my ratio faster by setting a higher upload speed. Then I have another scheduled task that puts the computer back into standby, after a couple hours. It would be nice if utorrent itself could put the computer into standby, when all uploading/downloading is done, so its not wasting electricty. Right now, I can't do that, because you have to manually select "Standby When Everything Completes".
