AlchemyFreak
This is my problem, ive copied it from the portforward.com forums at http://forum.portforward.com/YaBB.cgi?board=Software;action=display;num=1176933637Hi,I am kind of a newb, and i have been having some problems with forwarding ports for utorrent. I havent found a solution to my problem on any forum or tutorial.Let me start at the top. Before i got my own computer, i started using utorrent in my brother's room, and before long i had to forward a port. There, all i had to do was put it in the list of windows firewall exceptions(there we had the windows firewall and the free version of ZoneAlarm firewall), and everything worked fine. I got decent dl speeds and i always had the green tick and everything. Now, i have my own laptop(Panasonic Toughbook w/Windows XP Tablet Edition), and now i am having problems. I have followed every tutorial i could find. I put the port in the Win FW exceptions(not the same port as my bro's comp, so thats not the problem), i forwarded the port through my router to my static ip address, and i dont know what else to do. My dl speed rarely goes above 10 kbps, and i always have the yellow triangle instead of the green tick. I dont think it is the 2 router syndrome. Because it worked on the other comp, and all i have is a cable modem(Scientific Atlanta), and one router(Microsoft MN-700).So, i think it has to be something with my configuration on this compAny and all help is very appreciated!!
