sarufang
im currently with iinet on adsl2 24000/12000 when i do the speed tests i get around 7000/2000 and the port checking gets a green light although my download speed remains on average around 70kbps, i used to get over 200kb on a poorer cable plan and on a poorer torrent client just curious! Switeck
As far as I know, even ADSL2+ doesn't have over 2000 kilobits/sec upload bandwidth max...and people often get only a fraction of that due to being far from the ISPs switching center, resulting in even lower speeds. sarufang
yeah i get 5000/800 on the speed test, would it be wise to set it to 1mb on the speed guide
Switeck
Better to use xx/768k -- that's very close to the 800 kilobits/sec upload bandwidth you're getting. If you want, you could increase upload speed slightly (about 5-10 KiloBYTES/sec) after choosing that setting...but beyond that it's probably counter productive to change much else.
