ive been getting the yellow triangle ever since i reformatted my computer.

also, when i test the port to which ive selected to open/use, i get:

Welcome to the µTorrent Port Checker.

A test will be performed on your computer to check if the specified port is opened.

Checking port 46519 on 68.158.2.109...

Error! Port 46519 does not appear to be open.

Please see www.portforward.com for more information about how to map a port.

Please make absolutely sure that PeerGuardian2 or Protowall is allowing utorrent.com (72.20.34.145) in either of those programs. Those of you using ipfilter.dat should make sure the list does not include the website's IP. After making sure of this, re-run this test by refreshing the page (F5).

and when i try using utorrent, i get a yellow triangle at the bottom.

i also did a speed test and i got:

1898Kb/s Download Speed and 239Kb/s Upload Speed.

so assumed i was supposed to set my DL speed to 2Mbit.

my router is a WRT54GS and the fire wall in the router is off and so is the XP firewall off.

ive heard that you are supposed to open a port first then apply the changes into utorrent or another bittorrent client, is that true?

help would be much appreciated!
