Hi there,

I don't know if this is a real bug or my computer's problem. Here it is:

* µTorrent version: 1.7 beta build 1355

* OS: Windows XP (SP2)

* User account right: Administrative

* Bug description: I've got this error message appeared when I try to add new torrent file:

utorrenterrorek3.png

(note: the hex addresses are always the same.)

The same message appears when I try to

- exit µTorrent

- start one more utorrent.exe

But everything is just fine when I click "OK".

By the way, I'm not having any issue like that with the previous µTorrent 1.6.1

By the way, Microsoft bought Sysinternals in July 2006. The Sysinternals website is now redirected to Windows Sysinternals, a section on the Microsoft TechNet website. The entire set of Sysinternals' Utilities have been rolled up into a single Suite of tools. This 'Suite' contains all the individual tools and help files, which where downloadable individually before. http://download.sysinternals.com/Files/SysinternalsSuite.zip

Yeah, I know... but the Sysinternals Suite isn't what we care about here -- only Process Explorer. Again, do you see a crash dump anywhere related to µTorrent, like its executable directory, its settings directory, or the current working directory from when it was opened?

ok, here they are:

Stacks on the utorrent.exe threads:

stack1mg8.th.jpg

When the error message appears, I find another utorrent.exe, this is the screenshot of that:

stack2jd5.th.png

BTW, I found the created date of utorrent.exe is July 02, 2006, anything wrong?

Currently I'm not running any Antivirus program (and I'm sure there's no virus) nor Firewall -- except the Windows Default Firewall.
