DeadMan Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 This is now the only feature missing from uTorrent that is preventing me from switching entirely.Yes yes I know some have discussed about it being harmfull to a swarm. Personally I think that's bogus. Listen. If you have a 4GB or 7gb torrent with episodes of a TV series in it and you only need 1 episode to complete the set. It's a nightmare to download 4GB or whatever just to get say a 350MB file! Plus it's likely you will be sharing the existing episodes anyhow if they are from the same release group just to make sure your CRC's are correct.Batch torrent prioritisation is sorely needed IMHO.
DomZ Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 Not sure if I understand your post, but I think you are referring to selective downloading? (download only one file of a multi file torrent). If so, then utorrent supports that, you go to the files tab, select and right click > Don't download, any files that you don't want downloaded.
Firon Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 it's been there for ages...you should read the FAQ before posting, because it's mentioned there.
slayers Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Now you have no more excuses to make the switch to uTorrent!
