XgMMHPnHMceKypKfPTfCRx3
Hi,I have been using uTorrent for sometime now and have enjoyed using it. I have recently stumbled across the subject of Proxy and have decided to perhaps use a proxy to work my downloads on (For both uTorrent and surfing). I wouldn't mind paying a proxy service as long as it has a good standing reputation. I've done a search on the forum and have come up empty with a list of what the general people that use uTorrent use, so I was wondering if some of you guys could enlighten me I want to know what Proxy services do you guys use to download with (Paid / Free). I appreciate the response ahead of time -breadtk
DreadWingKnight
Proxies will have a massively negative impact on your download performance. They are not recommended for use at all.
thebeav111
Being that I am on Rogers which limits the hell out of bittorrent, I use secureix, google it, it's not that bad, have downloaded at like 200k using it.
Lord Alderaan
Proxy as means to protect yourself from infringement letters and/or legal action: Vitrually worthless and NOT recommendedProxy as means to circumvent traffic throttling after enabling encryption didn't help: Might be worth a try. Go with fellow ISP customer experiences such as thebeav111s. Afaik there are no free proxies providing a service that could suffice. So it is gonna cost you money. If posible switching ISP might be a better solution.
BeingAndNothingness
VPN's work.Try a company like secureIX.com or search Google for VPNs.You're gonna have to pay for a premium account to see a difference though. Any free VPN's cap you anyway.
