poptartz Posted April 30, 2007 Report Share Posted April 30, 2007 Now it's downloading all my files again, taking up all my disk space again, and making new folders for the files..again. I try to stop it from downloading again but IT WONT STOP. If i delete the folders it just gets error messages and I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.Please help make it stop.-Rachel. lexein Posted May 3, 2007 Report Share Posted May 3, 2007 Rachel - to stop uTorrent from downloading files anew, if they are complete and you're done with them(and you've moved them somewhere uTorrent doesn't know about!), you need to remove the torrents from the list. This is easy: highlight (single click) and hit the 'delete' key. This deletes the torrent but not the file. Rightclicking on a torrent in the list offers more delete options. As Ultima stated, force recheck just performs a sanity and percent completion check on existing files. When in doubt, highlight one or all torrents and hit the big red STOP button.
