Giorgio_Papa
I've added a second tracker address to my torrent and it says "Failure: unregistered torrent" but I know that it does work because if I just run the torrent on only that tracker it works. Is there a way to get them both working together, like it should? Thanks. Ultima
... Don't touch the tracker list unless you know what you're doing. Adding random trackers (1) doesn't guarantee that the tracker actually tracks the torrent, like the error you're seeing, and (2) even if you add trackers, it doesn't guarantee more/new peers to connect to. Giorgio_Papa
I would link you to the two torrents I based this post on but I'm sure it's outside the rules to do so.The file being shared in both torrents was exactly 349.22MB in size. What else beyond that is necessary for it to work?

red.nose
unregistered torrent? Have a torrent that I've completed downloading, reinstalled uTorrent, didn't know how to reseed and figured to recreate that torrent. Have very low seed rate so wanted to add more trackers to speed this up. Been getting "unregistered torrent". What exactly is the procedure to reseed, recreate a torrent???? thelittlefire
Tracker error messages mean the tracker has something to say about the torrent (i.e. it uses authentication so randomly adding trackers won't help you). Doing something to uTorrent won't help you. You don't need to "recreate" the torrent, unless it's to edit it with http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=31306 edit out the old tracker(s) and add new tracker(s)... Then you have to re-upload the torrent somewhere people will find it. Unfortunately since your content doesn't seem to be popular you may have to wait for peers to connect to you.You can find many helpful guides @ http://utorrent.com/guides.php and you can find some information in the user manual by pressing F1 in the GUI. red.nose
thank you for the reply "thelittlefire". Been a peer now and then downloading. Rather large, 6GB, along time to complete or to wait for completion. Will let it remane till fulfilled.
