Firon
400 is way too many. You should be using no more than 100. And if you're on XP SP2 and haven't patched your TCPIP.sys, you should not set net.max_halfopen above 8.
Cybermurder
I have 100 halfopended connections (lvlord patch). Ok I've set both from 400 to 100 but it helped not..
Ultima
I just noticed that in your first post, you said that you couldn't forward the ports... I think that's the reason for the slow speeds.
Cybermurder
But upload is every time over ten. The most time it's 15>....
Ultima
I *think* I recall still being able to upload at those speeds even without port forwarding on (but the last time I used BitTorrent without portforwarding must have been 3-4 years ago, so I don't know how accurate my memory is =P)
Cybermurder
But other download programs are working very well. (Much more download then upload...)
Ultima
What other download programs? Download managers? FTP clients? Browsers? If that's the case, then it's because they're accessing HTTP/FTP/some-other-common-transfer-protocol's ports that are allowed connection by default. Cybermurder
I didn't mean such things as FTP Clients and Download managers(and other things with these protocols)
ColdArmor
I presume he is talking about other filesharing clients such as L*meWire, W*nMX (dead now), and B*arshare, etc.
