Switeck Posted May 12, 2007 Report Share Posted May 12, 2007 Do you have Win XP's QoS disabled or enabled?It's a longshot, but if it's enabled speeds might vary depending on whether µTorrent has focus (at the forfront/maximized) or not.Still, I wouldn't expect the speeds to change by more than 10-20% even then...unless you've set your upload speed too high. Lord Alderaan Posted May 14, 2007 Report Share Posted May 14, 2007 Start -=> Settings -=> Control Panel -=> Network -=> LAN Connection -=> Properties -=> See if it has QOS listed and enabled.Windows QoS isn't a bad thing in windows. It wouldn't take speed from utorrent unless something more important needs the speed but since it bases this on your network speed (10MB/100MB/1000MB depending on your networkcard and router) this pretty much never happens afaik (maybe when you are copying some files over the network to another computer in your LAN or something).Then again I usually uninstall it cos I don't really see the use either and that can't really hurt.
