Switeck
I did a Copy Peers List on a VERY busy torrent. The last 12 ips all were reported as using port 65535, and numerous ips throughout the list were also using port 65535. This is FAR out of proportion of the numbers I'd expect to find on that port, unless there's another idiotic "BitTorrent Max-Speed Tweak FAQ" that suggests using this port. (No offense meant to you Ultima, your Speed FAQs are good...I mean many of the other FAQs.)Is this probably bogus port reported because the ips are untested and likely firewalled? If so, is there any schemes to prevent reporting firewalled ips in the Peers list?(...since they are by their very nature unconnectable.) Firon
That usually happens with incoming peers. It means that you don't know that peer's listening port.
