Soule Posted November 12, 2005 Report Posted November 12, 2005 Take a look at this pic, made a torrent with uTorrent and seeded it, it works well. But the thing is that it says 92% on half of the files, but got all pieces of it! Luckily it doesn't seem to affect the seeding of the files.http://files.upl.silentwhisper.net/upload5/umm.jpg
Soule Posted November 13, 2005 Author Report Posted November 13, 2005 Aye, very weird indeed. Since I created the torrent with uTorrent and everything...
Ydope Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 Something like this happened to me when I had changed some data inside the folder i was seeding. The folder contained subfolders containing images. The data i changed were those thumbs.db system files. They were modified whilst i was only looking at one of those images or whatever.After removing and reopening the torrent i was at 93%. Now cant get it to live again :-(
Firon Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 Removing or changing even a simple thumbs.db that was part of the torrent will destroy the entire piece it was part of, up to two pieces.
Soule Posted November 16, 2005 Author Report Posted November 16, 2005 Which is not the case here, it's 50 MB RAR-files which I haven't touched since I compressed them and all pieces are intact.
NiteShdw Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 If you look at the piece bars, it looks like they are completely full (no missing pieces). Perhaps it's more a bug in the way the % is calcuated, such as if there is a piece that spans 2 files.
Soule Posted November 16, 2005 Author Report Posted November 16, 2005 Did you try forcing a re-check?Aye, didn't fix it.
Firon Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 That's a very odd thing, but at least it's only a visual artifact and isn't actually doing anything O.o;
ColdArmor Posted November 16, 2005 Report Posted November 16, 2005 That's a very odd thing, but at least it's only a visual artifact and isn't actually doing anything O.o;True atleast it is still uploading.. lol..
chaosblade Posted November 17, 2005 Report Posted November 17, 2005 Seems like a visual bug. Maybe we should get ludde's attention to it.
