[icon] Simple

Determination

Recommended Posts

I liked your idea of about a simple icon, but they are so tiny.

So I made my own version of your simple icon, its bigger and it really is 16x16 :P

Well its still just an normal image, but I hoped that you Determination could make icons of them,

could you please do it? :) I don't have a program that can do it :(

Download the image with the icons here (transparent .png file)

Hm... Green icon becomes yellowish (128,128,0) in my tray :/ Why?

My version or Determinations original version? Maybe it's because my icons only contain 16x16, no bigger than that, but XP makes it look good at 32x32 anyway :)

Link added in my other post for V2 ;)

Yours.

w2k here. I guess this is why.

Your icons are true color, i suppose. w2k supports only 256 colors in tray.

damn, @icon sushi only handles .bmp and .png.

.png can only be save in 32-bit, atleast in Photoshop CS anyway.

I guess I need a real icon maker program to make 16-bit icons :(

Probably a stupid question, but would reducing the number of colors to 256 work? I think that makes the PNG use 8 bits per pixel, but is that the same thing as being 16-bit?

*reads Wikipedia article on color depth*

Hmm, guess not.

the thing is, in both MSPAINT and in Photoshop CS,

you can't specify what quality you want on the .png.

Photoshop saves it in 32-bit and mspaint saves it in 24-bit.
