boo
MechR, I noticed an bad thing with irfanview. Somehow it can't read the transparent colors = less soft corners.Maybe there is some settings somehere that allows irfanview to read transparent colors.EDIT: Found the setting, click on the P button, go to the Misc 1 tab and check the checkbox called "Show PNG alpha/transparency color".EDIT2:damn, now it opens .png and is able to show the tranparency, BUT when you save it, it doesn't save the transparency of the colors. It save those transparent colors like if they had a black background

Huck
boo,Thanks. Damn w2k tray proved to support only 16 colors! I had to patch explorer to make 256 color tray. The patch (and instructions for manual patching) can be found there http://www.dr-hoiby.com/TrayIconIn256Color/
