Rashkasha
Not behind any router. Not behind firewall. Didn't update windows, got SP2. I am on cable connection. www and any mmorpg is working just perfect but till yesterday everything was working fine with my utorrent, now I got this message, and I cannot download anything since, not a single torrent, from any site? DHT status is - not allowed. I call my ISP, and after one hour talk and checking lines, everything was ok, but still I got connection closed by peer? I am with my ISP over a two year now, and needless to say they are best in the country? If anyone had any answer it will be helpful, thanks in advance... Ultima
Sounds like your ISP is blocking tracker connections.
Rashkasha
Thanks for info, but can you explain me, what that means, so I can call them and tell them what's the problem? So they could fix that. Thanks again
Ultima
What it is? It just means that something is blocking you from connecting to trackers. Connection closed by peer can only stem from firewall, router, or ISP (as far as I can tell). Since you don't have the first 2, the only possibility left is the ISP. I'm not sure if they'll fix the problem, as ISPs generally use this tactic to prevent users from using BitTorrent.
