IronChefCHN
Hi. I've used utorrent with Antivirus and Firewall on XP successfully. However, when I use utorrent on Vista, it stops responding after a few minutes. Any ideas?
Firon
Make sure you use 1.7. It fixes the vast majority of Vista issues.
IronChefCHN
I am using 1.7. It seems to work sometimes and freeze other times. Also even on low bandwidth allocation, it seems to suck up a lot of bandwidth. This never happened when I used utorrent on xp. I'm using Vista Home Premium if thats any help. Could this be a problem between Vista and the Bittorrent system itself?
bilzebub
I have this same problem, but only on my desktop (running Home premium) not on my laptop (Vista Business):On the desktop, having utorrent running, even with no great activity, then neither firefox nor IE will load pages.I have updated to latest beta (no better) turned off QOS and UPNP in router (ditto) and lowered my global connections (only when very very low - 15 global max - does my browsing return)Hmmm... anyone? Ultima
I'm suspecting that your net.max_halfopen limit is too high. Check the first link in my signature regarding interrupted connections for other suggestions.
