binhex
hi im running utorrent 1.7 build 1875 and noticed that the seed while property for individual torrents doesnt seem to working any more, if i want a particular torrent to carry on seeding i usually set it to "overwrite default settings" and set the value in the ratio is <= to something like 99999, however this doesnt seem to work and the torrent keeps on finishing, the only way around this that ive found is to put a minus infront of the value. im sure this worked correctly in 1.6.1.the other issue, which isnt a bug as such but a tweak is the new feature to automatically throttle the upload speed, this seems to work great whilst downloading something, but it doesnt seem to kick over to unlimited when only seedind, surely you would only want this to auto throttle when downloading?.i hope this feedback helps!.binhex. Firon
The seeding ratio does work. You just don't know how it works. You need to enable "limit the upload rate to" and set it to 0.
binhex
hi firon thanks for your reply, im afraid you misunderstand me, im not on about the global seeding options, i know how it works, im on about altering the "seed while" property of an individual torrent. in ver 1.6.1 i can override the defaults by specifying a higher ratio percentage on a particular torrent i want to seed for longer by entering in a higher percentage number, in my example i entered 99999, this works as expected in ver 1.6.1 of utorrent but doesnt work correctly in the 1.7 beta. in the beta it seems to ignore the value on the torrent and stops seeding and sets it as finished.cheers.binhex.
