teknoprep
So here's my problem...I've been using uTorrent fine with Windows XP (with the TCP Patch), and up until recently Windows Vista Ultimate. When I first installed Vista, I noticed slow download speeds with uTorrent 1.7 BETA, so I took the advice of the forums. I downloaded the TCP Patch, and it seemed not to speed things up at all. In fact, I have been having problems with my internet. When I "ping google.com -t", I will get 100% returns until I open up uTorrent and try to download a file, then it drops to about 20% success. Here's a video of the problem in action:http://files-upload.com/205570/tcp.avi.htmlAnyway, I uninstalled the TCP Patch (via .bat and .reg files) and restarted my computer, then reset the maxtcpconnections to 8, but it still occurs (though not as bad), it will randomly happen when I'm downloaded torrents, sometimes the internet works, sometimes it doesn't. I know its not my router, because other computers on the network work fine. I have a Netgear WPN824v2 with the latest firmware.Any idea on how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance!
