Computer Guru
On Windows Vista (and Longhorn Server) with or without an antivirus (tested with none, NOD32, and Kaspersky), right-clicking the logger window and pressing "Dump Memory" crashes µTorrent with 100% CPU, never responds, forced to task-kill.Has been happening ever since I first noticed that function, thought it was associated with my other bug, but it's not. Maybe since the last 4 builds? (I'm on 1977 now).EDIT:Happens with UPX, PE, and uncompressed.
Ultima
Yah, it's known. On previous operating systems, it was supposed to happen *only* when Ctrl was held and it was clicked. It was a way to intentionally force an application crash put in by ludde a long time ago (most likely for debugging purposes). Not sure why Vista is being stupid about it. Computer Guru
Yeah, I can imagine scenarios when/where that would be useful. At any rate, guess there is no need for it now?I believe this is a (yet another) bug with VISTA and not µTorrent - because if you try to ask VISTA to memory dump uTorrent, it also hangs. (via taskmanager -> dump memory function)
