My download is fine and so is my upload however my download will never go over 230!? It usually stays on 229.9. Why is this? My internet is supposed to download faster than this?

And how are you finding enough people to download that fast from?

Many/most people only have 25-60 KiloBYTES/sec TOTAL upload speed, so if they're uploading to 4 people at once...you're likely to get only 1/4 of it.

Are you uploading equally fast back to others?

If not, increasing your download speed any is certainly coming at the expense of others...who might come in here and want to know how to increase THEIR download speed.

I am pretty sure your ISP throttles BitTorrent traffic.

Sadly, not much you can do but ask around for an ISP that doesn't treat its customers like criminals and a 'food source'.
