JovanT
Hi! I have Windows XP SP2. Every time when uTorrent gets started, everything is good (download and upload is OK) but after some amount of time (5 – 15 minutes), uTorrent freezes as well as other programs. But, when I disconnect from the Internet (either by using "disconnect" from Windows or by unplugging the cable from my network card, everything gets back to normal.I have searched the net and found that the tcpip.sys limit introduced in sp2 may be the problem so I tried to patch that file but it didn't helped. I've also tried to set net.max_halfopen to 8 or even less but the problem was still here.I have read the FAQ and I don't have any incompatible software. My firewall is Zone Alarm Pro 5.0.590 and is configured properly. I have tried to turn it off but nothing happened. I don't have any antivirus software. My Internet connection is 256/256 kbps. It uses PPPoE connection via LAN in my building. My network card is Realtek RTL-8139d. I am using latest version of uT and also tried with beta.I tried to use Bittorent client too, but the same problem is occurring although it was working well before I upgraded to service pack 2.
