Switeck Posted May 28, 2007 Report Share Posted May 28, 2007 You're probably on a hostile ISP that throttles BitTorrent traffic, like Rogers, BT, or SingTel.Try Ultima's Slow Speed FAQ:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992...it won't get your speeds back to what they were, but you may get a little better at least than you currently have. steedy Posted May 28, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 28, 2007 i appreciate that and agree but until a wek ago in off peak times i was getting download speeds upto 550-600kB/s and 250 nodes on the DHT now it's 1 node and real slow download speeds even though the port is forwarded with the green indication Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Switeck Posted May 29, 2007 Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 Your ISP may have flagged you as a "bandwidth hog" and just in the last week started throttling you.You could try calling them up and asking, but make sure you CAREFULLY read terms of use/fair use rules of your ISP first.
