red light

I think that I've opened the ports on my firewall, and router;

uTorrent is using 49850... but I still get the red light.

Is it possible that I'm still getting a red light because my modem is blocking the ports, but I don't know how to open ports on that...

I'm using windows XP

I have windows defender, and spyware doctor, I don't think that these are causing the problem.

Seems to me that ip address 192.168.1.1 is likely to be your ROUTER not your computer.

You need to port forward from your router to your computer's LAN ip...which if the 2 above port forwards are correct is 192.168.1.2

I think that "game1" and "game2" were for my ps2/xbox, but I'll try changing 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.2.

Should it's been set to gateway, should I change it?
