korkow Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 For a long long time I used Azureus as my client, but I recently switched to uTorrent when Azureus became that stupid Vuse thingy. Anyways, I am part of a private tracker that I have uploaded many many gigabites of stuff thru. Once I switched to uTorrent (and I dont plan on switching back), all my torrent's ratios went to 0! The problem is that what uTorrent *thinks* are priorities, have already been uploaded serveral times over. Becuase of this, it is quite annoying to make it properly seed the torrents that *need* seeding. Is there any way to manually change the ratios or something?
DreadWingKnight Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 The tracker-side ratios will be unaffected. The displayed ratios in uTorrent are the only things being affected.
korkow Posted May 29, 2007 Author Report Posted May 29, 2007 I realize the trackers ratios are completely unaffected, its just the problem that uTorrent's seeding priorities are really wacked up because of it.
ICleolion Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Should have seen the light and used utorrent earlier
Smoovious Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 enable the 'seed while' settings in the individual torrent's properties... and set everything to 0... that'll force those migrated torrents to always seed normally instead of priority...No way to manually set the ratio, however. That would open up yet another avenue of abuse from the leechers...-- Smoovious
