binda Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 I'm having this problem as well, with the same message but am not with Tiscali. How can I find out if its my ISP. I have done all the port forwarding and put uTorrent as an exception on my firewall. Not that technically minded, but can follow instructions to fix errors. would appreciate some advise
Switeck Posted June 1, 2007 Report Posted June 1, 2007 You can try Ultima's slow speed guide at:http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=15992...if that doesn't work, then either you've got a software antivirus or firewall interfering majorly....Or it's most likely your ISP.So who is your ISP?Does GOOGLE searches on it turn up anything?
binda Posted June 2, 2007 Author Report Posted June 2, 2007 HiyaMy ISP is AAPT. Will read the info on the links and see if this gives me any more information on the problem. will be in touch if needed. ta muchly
Switeck Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 You in Australia?Lots of Australia's ISPs route through Singapore's ISPs to get to the REST of the internet. So even if Australian ISPs don't block BitTorrent traffic, all of Singapore's ISPs do -- blocking traffic through them!
