Can I seed a file without downloading it first? If I can, how?

I'm not sure where this topic would go so I just put it here.

If I just want to upload some file for the sake of uploading it and helping out, and I don't already have the file in my computer, can I only seed the file without downloading it?

If I can, can someone show me how to do it.

if that "don't already have" is a "do already have" then yes, you can seed without RE-downlaoding the file.

jsut grab the torrent from the content again, choose in µT "add torrent (no default save)" point to the content storage place and recheck if the content matches the torrent file by rightclicking and choosing "Force Re-check". if content and torrent matches, the bar in the general tab will rise to 100% once the checking is finished, you can start the torrent and then you will seed only.

Like, I do not have the file but I just want to seed it. But I don't want to download it first. Is it possible?
