Dillius
Normally I get decent enough speed with my torrents, but I've noticed that at night my torrents seem to come to a complete standstill. My computer is set to NOT hibernate or standby in any way. I have bellsouth DSL with a Westell DSL router(Westell c90-610030-06) and a Netgear router(Netgear RangeMax Wireless Router WPN824v2) for my home network. Ports are forwarded properly through the netgear router, and the torrenting computer is wired, not wireless. I also use AVG Firewall, and have uTorrent set as an allowed program and the port I use for torrents forced open on the firewall. I read another post with a similar issue for Zone Alarm Firewalls, where you had to set it so that the firewall did not block traffic upon idling. I have been able to find no such setting for my firewall, and am not sure if it has the same issue.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
