eurekaguy4u
Hi friends, I m using HTTP Proxy , and my bitcomet is downloading torrents fine. i want to use utorrent now, bt i found there is no option for http proxy. i selected https proxy and entered my proxy details , and even selected the option of "use proxy for peer-to-peer communication" , bt still utorrent is not downloading anything, just showing the no. of seeds and peers. How can i resolve, or utorrent not works with http proxy (or utorrent has to evolve to solve this prob ). Plz helpEurekaguy4u

If it doesn't work, then the only way the devs can fix it is if they can test the proxy themselves.
Greg Hazel
"HTTP" is an option in the Options > Preferences > Connection > Proxy Server > Type selection box.
Ultima
FWIW, we've told him to try a bunch of things, like HTTP <-> HTTPS and turning peer-to-peer communication proxying on and off, and they didn't work.
Firon
"HTTP" is an option in the Options > Preferences > Connection > Proxy Server > Type selection box.The HTTP option in µT won't allow proxying peer communication. The problem is that BitComet can do it, so I'm thinking that HTTP CONNECT support is just broken in ut (or maybe not even implemented). This will be addressed for 1.8.
