Interesting problem involving a Bluetooth thumbdrive

Hi, i'm a new forum member. I came by these forums because I was having a common problem amongst most bittorrent users: my ports would not open for me.

I tried everything from the Faqs, to Ultima's troubleshooting guide. I took off my router and connected straight through the modem, and still I had that dreaded yellow exclamation point looming over me.

Once again i ran cmd and looked at my ipconfig. That's where I noticed somthing amis: my bluetooth thumbdrive had assigned my computer another IP. So my ipconfig listed two IPs: one for my LAN connection, and one for my bluetooth connection.

Hell, why not, nothing else worked, I might as well try disabling my bluetooth connection. As soon as I disabled my bluetooth thumb drive, the green check mark finally appeared, and I was getting my full speed.

The second IP disappeared from the ipconfig and I was running at full speed.

I dunno if has been discussed in the forums, and I dunno if there are other devices that does this, but I hope this helps someone.

Try setting net.bind_ip and net.outgoing_ip to to your LAN connection's IP address from ipconfig. If it doesn't help, it's a problem with Windows not selecting the correct connection.
