mostone Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 when i download a single file and save to a fat32 format disk. she give me a error message: disk space is low. but my disk's free space more then 10GB.so. i think this message is wrong!
DreadWingKnight Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 FAT32 has a per-file limit of 4GB.If you're downloading a single file that is larger, you will get that message.Convert to NTFS.
mostone Posted June 9, 2007 Author Report Posted June 9, 2007 at this time, if show me the message: you use a fat32 disk, it has a per-file limit of 4GB. so i can find what happened.but the message said space is too lower, and i have enoughfree space. this mak me think this is a bug, and can't find a way to resolve it.please chang the error message to help people to find real reason.
Switeck Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 I am pretty sure it's a windows error, µTorrent is just returning the windows error message.
DreadWingKnight Posted June 9, 2007 Report Posted June 9, 2007 uTorrent is merely passing along the error reported by windows.Windows reports a "not enough disk space" error when trying to save a file that is over 4GB in size on a FAT32 partition.Plain and simple, convert to NTFS.
