Unable to connect to Internet (Wine+UTorrent)

Hi,

I am new to Linux but learning fast. I am using Ubuntu Dapper and installed wine with automatix. I also downloaded uTorrent exe file and ran it with wine. uTorrent installed just fine, similar to Windows. I've used the same settings that I use when running Windows. I have a router but use a static port. This setup works perfect with Windows version.

PROBLEM: I can't connect to the Internet. When I type anything in the search field no web page comes up.

It's probably a problem with Wine not catching the browser call properly. Or something. Indeed, it doesn't work for me either.
