moving from BitTorrent to uTorrent

Hello,

About 1/4 of a large folder has downloaded using BitTorrent with only 28 days to go.

Is there a way i can use uTorrent to pick up where BitTorrent left off?

The above post didn't fully answer my question but I did figure something out. Here is an explanation of what worked for me.

In the temporary file location for incomplete downloads, BitTorrent created a temporary file. It's file name didn't make sense but i thought it was the right one because of the filesize. In my case it was something like:

%AppData%\BitTorrent\incomplete\GHFJAKuEHCMgjJUk

Filesize = 2,279,504 KB

Notice there is no file extension on it.

After moving the file "GHFJAKuEHCMgjJUk" to the location where uTorrent would work with it, i renamed it to something that made sense like "ANewFileName.rar".

From there i followed directions in the migration guide and started up the torrent normally. Everything worked out.
