The computer I wish too use bit torrent with is wirelessly accessing the same router as my wired house desktop, and my 360. The router is an MSI RG54G2...I am on a dynamic ip address. I read in the tutorials I will need to switch to static in order to "forward a port". My question, how can i setup this connection in order to not defunk my 360 from accessing live and my desktop from the internet. Thank you. Switeck Posted June 12, 2007 Report Share Posted June 12, 2007 Only your computer needs to be set to a static ip address, and ONLY its LAN ip address (probably 192.168.x.x) needs to be set static.
