MechR Posted November 26, 2005 Report Share Posted November 26, 2005 Oh, 1.0.x doesn't seem that bad... 1.5 has some nice improvements though, like drag-and-drop rearrange for tabs, and a patch-update system so you don't have to download the full installer for every update. Firon Posted November 26, 2005 Report Share Posted November 26, 2005 It was pretty bad in my personal experience, it really turned me off Firefox. I tried FF again (but this time I used 1.5 beta 1) so I could use Windizupdate, and decided I really liked FF. Adblock Plus with Filterset.G Updater and FLashblock were a godsend, too. 1c3d0g Posted November 26, 2005 Report Share Posted November 26, 2005 Yeah...the new Firefox has the updated Gecko 1.8.x engine, which fixes a slew of glitches with (X)HTML/CSS etc. This is a major upgrade, and when testing the Beta I felt it rendered a lot of web pages noticeably faster and had a much smoother "feel" overall. :cool: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
