Where did you download it from?

Did you ask at their message forum/s if any?

Did you try using GOOGLE for finding out about the file type and program/s needed to open it?

Really what you're asking us is the equivalent of asking Microsoft how to play a game you downloaded using Microsoft Internet Explorer.

if you've downloaded a file 100% then uTorrent has probably done it's job.

uTorrent downloads files. Your computer, and the software you have installed on it, opens and works with files. Some file types need specific software to open it.

Research the file type on google and you'll learn the answer. Be sure to scan it with virus software too.

Tell your friend that if he thinks it's a bad download, he's a moron and should be shot. BitTorrent's biggest feature is error-proof downloading - it's functionally impossible to have a corrupted download with BT, that's what's thrown such a wrench into **AA's (MP/RIAA) workings that previously worked by sending bogus data to peer-to-peer network clients. It just rejects the bad data and says "Anyone ELSE got this piece?".

But again... ask on the forum of the site you downloaded the torrent from. Check the Tracker URL for a big clue.
