Unable to check ports are open or not.

I'm using UTorrent 1.6.1 and when I'm on my Speed Guide, I click to test if the ports are forwarded properly. However this is the link I keep getting.

http://www.utorrent.com/testport.php?port=40257

I am sure that I don't have either of those programs installed on my PC. Is it because I need to port forward Utorrents in general for it to work? Is that the reason why I'm unable to actually check my ports? My current ports are 40257 if that's any help. What is the recomodned port number that I should use?

PeerGuardian2 and protowall are only mentioned because in some cases they block the port tester (so the Port Checker will say the port isn't opened even if it is).

If you don't have them installed that means the Port Checker is right when it says your port aren't open and you most probably don't have it forwarded correctly.

Thanks, one last question.

Incoming Ports From___To___

What would I put for this while trying to set up a Port? The guide doesn't really explain it in much detail.

Destination IP Address 192.168.2.

Where is this located:

Destination MAC Address :::::

Where is this located:

Destination Port From ___To___

Is this the ports I want open?

If you follow the guide you linked step by step and fill in the fields it asks along the way (port, IP) it will provide you with exactly what to fill in at the bottom of the page except for the MAC address. Use the linked MAC guide to find out your MAC address and fill it in the 6 little fields in your router.
